New Member and Ford Owner

Hello Everyone,

I purchased a 70 F250 about 3 months back. I love this truck! I have had a few issues and so far this site has helped me tremendously. Since I have owned the truck, I need to play with the shift lever to get it in the right spot in order for the truck to start. Is this a linkage issue....or could it be something bigger? I have a 360 with a C6 transmission.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Welcome aboard!
Sounds like your neutral safety switch is out of adjustment. It's super easy to fix. See this thread:
