Hey guys, a few weeks ago on a trip to my salvage yard of paradise, I was lookinf for a light switch for a freind and ran across a '70's T-bird with bucket seats, the low back version. Do any of you know which buckets are a direct bolt in, or if any are or do I have to modify the brackets on any that I might find? Thanks,
Ron S.

re: Bucket Seats? Which will fit?
The only bucket seats that are a straight bolt-in are Mustang seats with special truck mounting brackets:
Any other bucket seat will require custom brackets. However, there are many other alternatives. For example, any seat from a Ford truck up through '96 will bolt right in using your original tracks. Take a look at the following URL:

I finally just got my factory buckets and brackets. I had to search to make sure I had everything, and Keith's pic clarified if for me. Looks like I just need to re-upholster it and put it in! I stoked!
That's MR. Jackass to you fellah!

Does anyone have a setup for original style buckets they would like to sell? Thanks, John.
