72 F100 4sp. to 73 F250 4sp.

Post by motoski74 »

Can anyone tell me if a 4sp. from a 72 F100 with a 360 will bolt up to a 73 F250 with a 390 that also has a 4sp?
Thanks

Are both transmissions NP435's or is one of them a T18 or T19? Either way they should bolt up just fine. I'm not sure of the driveshaft length differences needed if one of the trannys is a T18/T19 and the other is a NP435. If both transmissions are the same brand, then everything should bolt up no problem. The belhousing pattern will all be the same if both trannys were bolted up to fe engines.
