is it possible to run a manual valve body with a column shifter? if so would forward or reverse be the better option? im thinking reverse manual would be best so no fear of jamming into reverse instead of 3rd.
id hate to hack and fab up a floor shifter, or should i just toss in a shift kit and modulator and be done with it?
keep in mind im using a TH400 trans

Re: manual valve bodies with column shifter
If you're going to use a manual valve body on a column shifter I would definitely get the reverse pattern.
You could use it as is, but you might want to change the detents on the shifter.

i just think it'd kinda neat, obviously its not a daily driver. thanks for the info, think it would be better to remove the 1-2 detent and soften the 3rd?
