71 Clutch/Brake Pedal assembly fit in 67?

Post by 67F100-390 »

I'm almost done putting my 67 f100 together. The donor truck was a 71 f250 which I got the motor and tranny from. My 67 used to be an auto but I have already up a t-18 in it. My question is can I fit the entire clutch and brake pedal assembly from my donor truck into my 67 f100? I read that there are difference between 67's and up, but the main problems I found were just related to the pedals, brake light switch, and clutch spring. Nothing about the mounting locations, and were the "rod" runs thru the firewall... both trucks are 2wd

67 is a one year only bracket. because the mounting point of the pedal pin is closer to the firewall. you can change out just the pin and remove the clutch pedal. and that will solve your problem. but if you wanted to upgrade to a 68-72 brake booster you could also change the entire bracket to do that.

AFAIK, the bracket/pedal assembly is a bolt-in mod.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

Maybe im reading the post wrong, I think hes asking if he can use the clutch pedals from the 72 F 250 in his 67 F100and hes going from a auto to a stick. To run the clutch rod there should be a place in the floorboard thats has a little cover over it with 2 screws to the left of the gas pedal. Dont know about the pedal change, never owned a 67. Used 250 pedals in my 100 but they were 69s.
