Hello specialists,what means a"divorced transfer case" ?

that means it isnt bolted to the transmission. it is hooked up by a driveshaft. even if it is a short one.

Agreed. All F-250 Highboys are divorced t-case NP205.

Somewhat yes crewdcab, all F-250's have divorced t-cases but not all have an NP205, many came with Dana 24.

and some came with 203's (cast iron chain drive , full time 4wd)
