I've used 4L80E's with aftermarket controllers behind diesels. Attaching all the needed sensors to the engine is a pain. Tuning the controller is a pain. Troubleshooting is a pain. 4L80E's do not have speedometer drives in 2wd versions.
Why do you want overdrive and lockup?
Will a 4L80E fit ?
