transmission fluid type for f250
I apologize for the dumb question. I just want to be sure. 1971 f250 c.s. with c6 trans. needs type F? This is what I have found but I trust you guys more than anyone else, so confirm or correct if you can. Thanks much.

I used dextron <sp? once and the tranny slipped like crazy. I replced with Type-F and works like a charm. Some would say that they are all the same in todays world. I would disagree with my "real world" experiences.
