New guy needs help, please.
Hi, I am new to this Forum. I have a 1967 F250 2WD. I drive it every day to work in the Spring, Summer and Fall. In the Winter it sits in my garage until the dreaded road-salt season is over. My latest project is to take out the FMX and put in an NP435. I have donor truck, but it is 4WD. Hence my question. The transmission cross member in the 4WD had a 6" drop or so. I found a guy on-line who said he has the crossmember for me, but it is flat. Is the crossmember on a 2WD flat? Also, is the 2 piece drive shaft the same in a truck with the FMX as it is with the NP435 so I can use the same drive shaft? Any help is greatly appreciated.
