I don't know about you all, but I for one like to keep the tires attatched to my vehicles when going down the road

Sad thing is if you look at the 'related videos' there's one or two more that do the exact same thing. Chevy must have used soggy matchsticks for rear axles.

Umm it looks like 9" inch ford axle retention when you see the backing plate. GM axles use the horse shoe washer in the diff to retain the axle. Those broken axles are from lack of maintenance, you get good hook up w/ a lot of power and the metal twists up like licorice after x number of passes.
