Scored on craigslist

Check it out, D4TE 390 block, bored .060, Keith Black forged flattops, D2 heads, Fresh with bigger valves, heavier springs and hard seats. Edelbrock streetmaster intake, Hedman truck headers, and a '74 C6 tranny. The engine was built and run about 5,000 miles then pulled to put in another truck. ("75 SWB) Before he got it installed the truck was stolen. The engine sat in the shop for almost 2 years. He pulled the pistons because he was afraid it would seize up setting there and the rod journals got a little surface rust on them. :( So I'll have to turn the crank, but the heads. block, and pistons look brand new. :D $350, Did I get a deal or what? I'd almost made up my mind to put a 302 in the "68 'til I found this deal. As a matter of fact I've already got a trade pending on the 240. (The deal still stands BTW) But the wife told me I wouldn't be happy with a smallblock. (She knows me  ) Can't hardly wait to get it built, by my figures it''ll have about 10.0/1 CR. She won't like 87 octane but she's gonna be a beast :D
