Hey guys.. I need some more help. I am helping to rebuild an old Buick engine and when we got down to the bare block we noticed a small crack in one of the cylinders. Its just about the line where the piston sits. I have a link to a couple of photos of the cylinder. Does this mean I need to get another block or is this fixable? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Re: small crack in cylinder
You can sleeve that hole. That's one very odd place to see a cylinder damaged. Talk to a machine shop about it.
