i got a 302 engine and i realize that the engine will look like was missfireing when i turned the engine on. i checked sparks, cables and everything was perfect, but i notice in the fuel filter(with a clear cover) was having trouble pulling the gas so i turned off the engine, i clean the carb inside out, change filters, took the gas tank off and clean it( it had i glove inside by the way and i took it out) i even change the fuel pump( is a mechanic one) so i started the car and it was crispy like never and i realize that in the first few minutes the fuel filters where full of gas like supossed to and i drove it for a few minutes and the car start to kind of fail again not as bad but still, and i looked at the fuel filter and again it look like it was strugling to get gas.
any ideas?

Re: fuel problem
it could be a pin hole in the fuel line inside of the fuel tank. or a pin hole in the other fuel lines someplace. its hard to tell with out checking it out in person. did you blow out the lines too while the gas tank was off? mayeb there was still soem stuff in the lines.
