I have a 72 Ford with a 360 . The power steering was put on before I got it
so I don't know the exact year . I'm trying to remove the pulley . Does anyone
know if the the hex bolt that holds it on is right or left hand threads ?
Thanks for any help ,
Bill

Re: Power Steering Pump
Neither....and it's not a bolt at all. The pulley is pressed on, and requires a special puller to remove. Don't try using a standard pulley puller or you'll ruin the pulley pretty fast.

Re: Power Steering Pump
they did have them at one of the chains, as I know I borrowed one. Can't recall if it was Advance or Oreilly, it might have even been in a puller "set" in a plastic box, cant' recall now. And you use it to "press" the pulley back on too.
