I've had one of these listed on my Parts Wanted page for quite a while now, and thanks to Ron, I also now have a complete swaybar setup. He found another one in the same yard and contacted me about it last weekend, and it arrived today. THANKS RON!!

...more parts now added to the 'To Be Powdercoated' pile! :D

In fact, I'm going to have to update that Parts Wanted page....since I also now have the aft-axle auxiliary tank (minus the attaching hardware), that list is getting pretty short.

Well, I'm thinking about that. I've got a tilt-column now with the cruise setup, so I'm thinking about changing that request to a good tilt/cruise wheel, with working buttons....so that I can add cruise control later down the road. :D

Yep, the front end of all '67-'79 F100 thru F350s are basically the same. The front swaybar setup is a direct bolt-on... as long as you have all the pieces. Here are a couple shots of what you need:

A swaybar is essentially a lateral spring. If you drive like Grandpa, you'd probably never notice it installed. However, if you tend to like freeway on-ramps at speed or have a heavy camper on the back, then you would. Basically it just stabilizes and reduces the rolling effect when you go around a corner or have a sidewind hit you with a large camper, preventing the truck from 'rolling' to one side.

There's a science to sway bars, probably not an issue with trucks, but guys with performance cars spend a lot of time figuring out the balance between front and rear. Stiffening up the back can actually have a detrimental affect on handling, in some cases, especially if it ends up stiffer than the front.

Something else that should be mentioned. Pretty sure you'll need to grab the radius arms off the later truck if you still have the origonals on your truck.
So that the brackets will flange up.

What about 80-89 sway bars, would they eventually fit our trucks or are they completely different compare to 73-79 sway bars? :hmm:
