It's a brake warning light. If you lose pressure in the front half or rear half of the hydraulic system it comes on to let you know there's something amiss with your brakes. That thing that looks like an "H" on the frame where the lines go is a pressure differential valve. The valve is centered and balanced by the pressures of the front and rear system. If the front or rear lose pressure, the valve goes off-center and trips the brake warning lamp switch that rides on the valve. It also goes off-center when you bleed the system and can be a real pisser to recenter, especially if you're doing it by yourself. A lot of times people just disconnect the plug to the switch, not the best idea.

There is more about the differential valve in THIS THREAD.

On my truck that light only comes on if I have a cracked di-lithium crystal, or a massive polar degeneration in the ion fields.
Really it should be connected to the brake equalizer valve and light up only if there is an imbalance between the front and rear brakes system hydralic pressure.

Everytime there is a disruption of the space-time-continuum mine lights up. :hmm:

Actually, Like Keith said its a pisser to make it go off. Bled my brakes in early March and still messing with it.

So going backwards through a worm hole is the only way to make it go out.

Sure hope you got Scotty to give you a little more "Powa" and I'm sure "Bones" is helping with the wounded. I'm sure Ohura is kinda like scratching her head waiting for Checkov to turn the wheel and Spock is just waiting to get them both in the transporter to give them a "mind meld" . Wow, talk about memories. This is great, the kids here are gonna be saying WTF is with this guy? :o Man, Kirk always gets the nice piece huh

My light only comes on when I have trouble with my flux capacitor. One time I went back to 1955 and that thing went crazy!

I met a really cute girl, though...but she turned out to be my mom.
