Removing the Steering Wheel
I am trying to remove the steering wheel on my 70' to put in a new turn signal cam. The only problem is I can't get the crome Ford cap off. I tried to pry a little, but I don't want to hurt anything. Any thoughts??

You need to push it in, then turn it... it might make the horn go off when you do, so disconnect the ground strap on the battery. It turns about 1/8 turn counter clockwise AFTER you push it down.

Instead of disconnecting the battery, you can disconnect the wire that runs to the horn. If you have presets or a digital clock it will keep you from having to reset them.

It'll come off if you just turn it to the left.... but you best push down first, if you want to put it back on!!

Also it might be easier to unplug the wire from the relay to prvent honking (It will honk!) It is a small rectangular box near the starter relay.
