Exploded-view Schematics page updated and expanded...

Post by FORDification »

I've been slowly working at getting the Exploded-view schematics pages updated, including adding more than 50 new scans and arranging the scans into groups, based on the parts.

The goal is to scan every diagram from the 1975 Final Issue of the 1964-1972 Ford Truck Master Parts catalog that directly pertains to the '67-'72 light-duty trucks (F100-F350)...and as of today I'm more than halfway through. :D

Whenever I've got a few minutes to kill (that is, whenever I lose my internet connection and I can't get online), I scan a few more. So sooner or later we'll have the complete collection. Take a look:

Keith

I have that catalog. It is not small. Thanks for taking the time sorting the diagrams that pertain to our trucks.

I scanned and posted a dozen more diagrams tonight. Here's what's been added (the number in brackets is the number of scans):

[1] '71-'72 grille
[1] 240/300 water pump
[1] FE water pump
[1] 302 water pump
[3] Fuel system (tank, lines, sending unit) - w/in-cab tank (w/ and w/o Evap.)
[5] Auxiliary fuel tank, filler tubes, skid plate (w/ and w/o Evap.)

The scans for the fuel system and the tanks are larger than most, since I wanted to allow you to see details that would've been lost if they were much smaller....just a warning to those of you with dial-up accounts. ;)

Sorry, I missed your post. These are from the MPC, and the pages only show the basic part number. The complete part numbers are not included in the MPC, since they tend to get revised.

Keith,

This is some good stuff.

I guess what I said above didn't come out the way I meant. What I meant was the the exploded-view diagrams themselves only include the basic part number, since the diagrams get reused. That way the diagrams wouldn't have to be revised every time a part number got revised. The MPC itself of course DOES have the part numbers in it, although they've often been revised over the years.
