The new Shee-Mar turn signal switch arrived today... it is beautiful !!!
I also picked up the new light sockets for the tail light conversion...
I am changing the large single wire marker lights into tail/turn/brake lights, by changing the sockets and wires. It is beginning to look like I am going to have to run all new wires from front to back just so I can tell which wires are which.
I added a couple of links to webshots to follow my projects...

Good to know your project is moving forward. More than I could say for mine.
I'm afraid I will have to do the same on my F350, run all new wires out back.

Yeah XLT...
That's phase one.
I needed a place where I could work on getting parts ready for my '68 F-250 CS. I am getting ready to do some major up grades on my pickup. Power steering, power brakes, a/c install, and disc brakes in the future. You can see the progress on that project at the webshots link below.
The F-250 runs and drives great, but after letting it sit for 5 or 6 years after a bad divorce, it needs a face lift. The first thing after I fired it up it blew out the header gaskets.. when I went to replace the gaskets I broke 3 header bolts off. Decided it would be much easier to cut the headers off with sawzall and pull the engine and get it on a stand where you can actually get a straight shot on the bolts. Hopefully to get the rest out with some heat. Meanwhile with the engine out of the truck go ahead and make the upgrades... much easier to install the steering box standing on the ground inside the engine compartment rather than laying on your back. with the engine in the way... much easier to change the motor perch as well.
In the mean time I'm just messin' with the bus. Tonight I got the wiring for the back lights pretty well figured out.. Now I have power where Im supposed to have power, but he lights don't flash yet... back to the puzzle...
I found the bus while searching craigslist looking for parts for my truck... go figure, but for $200 bucks I just couldn't pass the Olde girl up. I would not have even considered buying it, but it was the same year as my CS.. which I will have had for 20 years in Oct... Half of its life... funny, the truck outlasted the wife.
I bought the CS second owner with 1200 miles on a new HP 390 rebuild. It looked and ran like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
It really hurt to see it deteriorated the way it was... now at least it looks like a resto project rather than and abandoned vehicle.
take care...
