Northern AZ MNG

Post by Heavenlyfire »

Ok, this is starting to get a little big (cool). Here is the deal. Right now we are not sure exactly which weekend, we are still working that out. It will be this month for sure (Maybe lol) We will be meeting in Holbrook AZ. For those that don't know where that is, it is on I-40 on the eastern side of AZ. This trip wouldn't be bad for anyone in AZ, NM, UT, or CO. We will be fairly close to the 4 corners.

So far my plans are going to be to get up there Friday Afternoon and stay the night. I have to head back Saturday night. Bumps not required to be there (good thing, I would have to push mine  ). Just bring your smilling face, maybe a friend or 3, family, what ever. Let's put some names to some faces and have a good time.

Also, first round is on me. Beer, wine, soda, tea, water, whatever it may be.

How about the 21st? That would be great for me. If not it would have to be 2 weeks after that, May 5th. Those 2 weekends would be great for me.

Hey guy,

Depending on what weekend you decide, I would like to try to be there.

It would be nice to have some faces to go with the wild names and the fine people who post responses here on this web site.

The main reason would be because Kid is coming from alberquerque and that would add quite a few miles to his trip but it is up to him in the end!!!!!

Holbrook is 236 miles and 3 tanks of gas for my 250 I am not sure if I can afford to go farther. Seligman is 403 miles for me and gas here is rising to Arizona's prices.

Troy look for PM!

your gas mileage sucks. what are you getting. I get between 15-17 mpg with my 302.

390 or larger truck with 4.10s and just got the off idle stumble out of the new 750 carb (accel pump was miss adjusted) I hit 18 and then fried the coil while stuck from the 2.5 hours of constant running so I changed it and tossed on the NEw Carb last weekend so I haven't checked for sure. A Job is 18 mile away and round trip plus a 20 mile round trip parts run everyday cost me $20 at 2.79 per gallon. So about 6.5 gallons in 56 miles in town some highway for 8.615 mpg. Now if the stumble is gone tomorrow, I will get better mileage because I won't have to push the throttle farther to get past the stumble. 70 jets came out yesterday and 67s went in the primaries.

I haven't bothered checking the stroke yet but it did fishtail today when I punched it through the stumble and it took off
