Having a "check mark" added to threads we have rep

I was wondering if we could get a small check mark or something showing we have replied to a post. I may be the only one who likes the idea but there may be alot more who would like it as well. The main reason is the new members, I tryo to say hi to most of them as they join but with alot of new members joining I/we have to scroll through every post of the thread or try to remember if I had already welcomed them to the site. Just a thought and I realize you are busy so I will understand either way. Thanks for looking.

I am pretty sure we talked about this in the past and the software won't do it...

i see a little dot in the lower right of the circle next to the topic if i have replied. btw, i am using the "artemus" skin.
