3-point seatbelts

Post by morganater »

I know this question has been asked times before, but it was never quite answered where we could find a good set of 3 point seatbelts (retracting) in any color we want. My 'rentals are financing the purchase because they think they are MUCH safer than just lap belts. Not like i wear my lap belts anyways  My main concern is with ease of installation, and if the shoulder heights are adjustable or not. I dont want to go drilling holes into my cab pointlessly.

http://www.julianos.com/3_point_belt_bench.html

Available in Black, Charcoal, Blue, Maroon, Gray, Tan, Taupe, Red.

Your truck already has the upper attachment point (behind that small black rubber plug), so it's pretty much a bolt-in from what I understand.

I put in the Julianos, and work good, you have to "Tweak" the bottom mounting to make sure the spool doesn't keep the door from closing completely.

That setup looks an awful lot like the factory chevy seatbelts I have in my 80 pickup.

The 79 had the same setup.

The top bolt goes into a screw in the upper pillar.

If you want I can take some pics of it for reference.

Please do. I'd be interested in seeing this setup.

Do they make a matching lap belt for someone sitting in the middle?

What my two trucks have is just a lap belt for the middle passenger.

Found some pics that I had with the seat belts in my trucks.

If you need better ones let me know. I will still take better ones then.

Okay here they are again.

I don't remember double posting.

Would it matter that I am using Mozilla Firefox to upload these?
