As far as I know there is still space. If you look at the overview it appears simple enough but wow is there alot of spaces. There is no way you could cover the whole thing on foot. So Im gonna see my new best friend the golf cart dealer before this trip. I thought Decater was rough

A group of guys from the Slick site are planning on driving up from the Houston area. I may join them as well, but that's not for sure yet.

The swap meet is Apr. 26-29. Meeting the day before could be a good idea. Depending on what you have to sell(size-weight consideration's).
add it to what I'm taking. Settle on value's and price's, show you where I'm located on paper. And see how it goes from there!

you can PM me for a phone # mick

P.S. this offer is open to anyone who can get what they got to Ft. Worth on the 25th :fr:

Mickster how about a side trip to the shop on sunday or another day for a M-N-G. I know the boss would be cool with it. I would love to get together with other bumpside guys in the area. Anyone that wants to suggest a date just let me know and I will clear it with the boss. I will try to get out to Pate either Sat. or at least on Sun.

I'm Ok I guess it's at your shop, not mine. Getting ready for Pate is keeping me busy. Plus the house in paris is kicking me where it hurt's
(in the wallet). See who's available and I will try

Well guys felt well enough to get out to the pate today . Mick sorry we cut out so early , hope the rest of your weekend went well. Took a little break to eat at the car and move it closer to the gate Mickster was at so I could load my bounty for the day . Pulled up to a '69 swb plain jane daily driver type(had been wrecked and has a 67 or 68 grill) snapped a couple of shots of will post later. Finishing up with my snack and getting ready to get closer to the gate and got the chance to meet the owner . James an older gentleman had a great story, turns out he is from Hamilton Texas approximately 120 miles southwest of here. He told me he bought the truck in 1976 from the original owners estate was unsure of the mileage at that time , but now he said it has a tad over 307,000 miles and other than the tires and grill is all original . He says his little 240 I-6, three speed column shift(no a/c) has carried him all over Texas , most of the states and to the Pate meet every year since he either had it or the swap meet started (I was a little unsure on this). Said he missed the first couple sine moving it to TMS (an additional 45 miles one way ) but has been the last couple of years. I wish I had taken time to document more about his truck but he was going to get some thing to eat and I was really pushing it( first real trip out since my surgery)and need to load what I had ended up with . I will post another thread of what few pics we took and of what we got at the meet later .
Mickster was really good to meet you when I get things sorted out and see how we come out I'll square up with you .
stay tuned.

edit-After pics added truckcrazy's product's show up pretty well in pics (black wt4speed shirt)

Hey guys Alvinator was the only one to come by the shop on Saturday. It was great to met him and I hope that if anyone would like to get together in the dallas area again lets set a date and get even more people together. Alvinator has a real nice 69 ranger that he drove out to my shop. I really enjoyed talking with him. So no one has to ask for me by mercman my name is Jim. Inside joke with me and alvinator.
