Newbie

Post by 72Lift »

First, I have spent the last week pouring over your site. Not only have I found a plethora of info for my 1972 f250. I am new to restoration-I have never rebuilt an engine or done any kind of serious mechanical work. I picked up my Ford for two hundred dollars-it rusty but runs great. I bought it from a farmer who has used it as a hay truck since 1994 it only has 145,000 original miles and a 3" lift on the rear. I fell in love and want to bring her back to her glory and have her teach me along the way.
I want to say that I have been to so many other sites in the pass weeks- but you have the superior site! Just wondering when your gallery will be up again?

I was in the same position as you 72Lift...I bought a 72 F250 as a work truck and knew nothing about it and never did any mechanical work in my life. I found myself having a ton of problems with the truck and I've solved 99.9% because of great help from the guys in this forum. Now I'm much more confident about taking out and installing parts and troubleshooting.
