Due to the particularities of the '67, I feel compelled to ask: Will F 250 brake shoes for '68-'72 Or '73-'79 work for the '67? ? It's some times very difficult to find a lot of '67 parts at the part stores, especially for F250s, because their cataloging sysyem sucks. I usually have to ask for '68-9 to get the right part . If I could give the parts clerk an easier year to look up, it often saves a lot time at the counter and hassle for the clerk. Ther are only two part stors here in Big Bear, Napa and Big A.
Thanx

Big Bear? You all sure got the brunt of that latest storm! I'm down in the foothills of Brea and we sure got flooded! Plus I'm out all day trying to unclog the main drain, lot'a fun!
Anyway, the '67 F100 brakes are not the same as the later years but I believe the F250's are the same. You'll have to pull off a front drum and measure it or look at the shoe, there were two sizes. Standard was 12 1/8" x 2" front and rear or the optional was 12" x 2 1/2" front and rear.
Thanks for the info. Lots of fun is right. You're having yours and I'm having mine. It's raining on our snow so I'm spendind time cearing slush from my driveway and keeping up with the berm left by the plow. The warm rain melting the snow is flooding in a lot of the valley. I've seen lotsa flooding down there in your area on the news and that snowed in traffic jam on HWY 18, over 100 cars and a sideways tour bus.

My suggestion is to just take the old ones in and compare what they have to offer. Don't give them your cores until the job is done though. I took all my old ones and just left the cores once and then got home and found out you have to drive out some little anchor pins and re-use them. I didn't get back for a couple days and my cores were gone plus the pins were not available. I ended up buying used brake shoes from a junkyard to get the pins. Another time I sent the cores back before I put the thing back together and had shoes that had thicker metal webs and the slotted push rods wouldn't fit over the web.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.
Good point Willowbilly..I always keep my cores till the job's done. The first time I ever did a water pump, I turnned in the core with the plug still in it. I got a new plug at the hardware store. A new one is a better way to go, but I needed my mustang ASAP to get me to highschool, I hated riding the bus .
As a matter o' fact I still have a Ford, Chevy, and a Dodge water pump sitting around here from rescent auto repairs in my garage...Maybe it's time I turn'em in
