Here is one of my truck getting some upgraded maintenance (the previous owner seemed to think it would heal it self or something!)

Oh you so obviously have not dealt with many old Ford trucks. The PO knew a bit more than you realize. If you fix 1 thing the truck will think you want to fix everything. At that point it will be nonstop repair in the order the truck wants fixed. If you leave the truck alone regardless of squeeks and groans it will run forever. You will need to keep the oil full (most of the time), brakes operational & when the engine gets to smoking really bad (looks like a bug sprayer) you will have to find another high mileage used engine for it. Used clutch pieces are also acceptable parts to use when necessary. I do see you have installed the proper parking brake. :huh: :drive: :bs:

Thats a nice looking truck :thup: I'll bet if you stay with the skinny nobby tire, you'll have no problems going anywhere you want, What a Beast!!

I found a good tailgate. So I threw it on, and took a pic. Hope to have th eentire truck sanded down by sometime mid week.

I dont honestly think you should lower it, just some TLC on the seat and it will look great
