This probably explains why my front hoses seemed so long, had funny S bends and tried (sometimes successfully) to rub on the inside of the tires. Someone put the longer hoses on in the past. I ordered new, proper hoses (I hope) that were much shorter. Correct ends, but way shorter than what came off. Good to know. Thanks!1MoreProject wrote:Hey all, trickf100 is correct, it is the brackets that make the difference. The dentsides have a much longer brake line that curves up to the top of the frame and corresponding bracket that mounts the hose on the bottom and line on top. The bracket causes the hose to take on an "S" shape that I am not really into. Sorry about the confusion on the frame comment. The modified hoses have all the flex I need, don't rub or leak, and only have one gradual bend so this is the way they stay. Even with all that I will eventually need to change the brake lines when I install the adjustable proportioning valve, after the power brake installation. Thanks for reading, hope to be back again soon.
Keep up the great work!
