Robert,
I'll take it a part and give you some pics on how I put together. I'll post it in a couple days.

Mike, that's really nice of you to offer to take part of your truck apart just for photos for us! I will also be very interested in the photos as I'm planning on doing a very similar setup for my truck.
Thanks very much Mike!

Re: The 68 after a year of body work
Ok its been a little while since I last posted, but I finally got the new wheels! I got a set of coys that are 18x7 in the front and 20x8.5 in the rear. I had to change bolt pattern by going with a 5 on 5" with a new set of rotors drilled and a wheel adapter in the rear! Been a long time coming for me to get wheels on her!

Nice.
How do you not scratch the paint when youre working on it? Like when youre adjusting the doors. Do you have one-pc. windows in that?

Re: The 68 after a year of body work (New Wheels!)
I tried my hardest not to scratch anything when putting it all back together. With the doors and the wood in the bed I did many trial runs while it was in primer to understand how best I should put it back without damage. I knew the doors were especially hard and practised a couple times. It all worked out ok. The windows are not one piece. I have the window wing and side glass tinted. I do admit that I scratched the window tint on the driver side and had to redo the tint. That was one part of the assembly I didn't practice and thus caused my frustration. So my biggest suggestion is if you dont have an expert knowledge about putting it back together, then practice when it doesnt matter and you will become an expert on how it goes back. My 2 cents

Re: The 68 after a year of body work (New Wheels!)
I feel like im on the last stretch here. I have bleed the brakes and get all the fluids in. Trans, oil, power steering, water. Then light her up and see what problems arise. After that then I need to get to an alighnment shop and get her tweeked in. Doesnt seem like a lot but ive been so busy at work Ive had a hard time getting this last bit of time and effort done. Ill keep ya post though!

are you going without the steering column cover? noticed the interior shot showed it missing. doesn't look horrable just different without it.
