http://www.woodlandskc.com/ Here is the place of the meet.

Map to my place. Im 16 miles away from the track/swapmeet.

I am serously thinking about getting a vendor spot for us. If only for a meet up place if we decide to go our separate ways and look around individually or in smaller groups. You know, schycronize wathces and meet back here at such-and-such time. Also if we can gather up our extra stuff and sell it here I'll donate half of the sales to Fordification.
Any interest in this idea. As far as manning it. We can take turns, like 2 hours on or something.

Let me know and I'll send in the money to get the vendor packet.

Im 100% sure I would like to do this. It will give us a built in break area for both days and I wont mind sitting around for 2 hours selling stuff for a good cause. Make sure to mark you items with a unique mark like your Fordification name so we can divide the cut at the end of the day. Also please put your asking price on some tape and attach it to your item and maybe write down your bottom price on a separate piece of paper or a 3X5 card so people who like to haggle, LikeMe, can bargain a bit.

Also we need some more business cards ( Im down to 3 left ) to hand out with each purchase.

April 8-9. Kansas City, KS: Ararat Shrine Swap Meet. The Woodlands Race Track, 9700 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, KS 66109. Vendor spaces for April and August events $70, April only vendor space $40. Car Corral spaces $25 each. Buyers $5 per carload. Gates open at 6am each day. Toll free info line for those outside of the Kansas City area call (800) 211-4129; KC Metro number: (816) 923-6220.

You'll want atleast traveling money. And food money. Plus $5.00 to get in at the show. And maybe some money to buy stuff with. Maybe we could all split the bill for breakfast if this would help everybody out.

I beleive we could all meet up at Dennys and eat breakfast together. The morning of the swap meet and when we get done if we want / have time to look for something else to do. Maybe we could all go see a movie too. and those who can arrange can stay overnight and have breakfast together again the next morning.

Fordman is there a denny central to the area of the swap meet affore mentioned?

Also please travel in grooups when possible.

Just want to give props to you for starting this, there is good info in this post.

This might be the best bet for an eating place. Its right on the way and is open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday and at 5am on Sunday. I like the fact it has family in the name and has its own website. Looks clean and safe.

Starts at 50 a night for those wanting to do the motel thing. There are several hotle/motels in the area. This one is very clean and is where we stayed when we came house hunting.

oh man, that place used to be called "victory junction" back in the day. i spent many a drunken morning in there trying to absorb alcohol with greasy eggs and biscuits and gravy. lol. looks like it's changed owners and cleaned up it's act.

Cool guys. this Helpfulness and going the extra 20 miles Mentality is what Makes this site awesome.

I could bring my extra stuff from the 77 f150 i pareted out last year. Also A vendors spot would be a cool placxe to drop off the parts we buy from other places and have them be watched after while we scout for more stuff.

I would love to come up. Any guys that are coming from TX or OK could stop in at my place to catch a few Zs before doing the final leg.

I hope I have the 67 going by that time. If I do I could bring parts from the 73.

I will keep an eye on this and see if I can come.
