This past weekend 6-2-2012 I sanded down my floor and painted it. I'm going to hopefully get the flooring installed soon, I run out of time.

Performed drum to disc brake conversion this weekend and wow what a lot of work it took to complete. A few problems I run into was I couldn't get the bearings to fit the spindles because of surface rust. I had to sand that off to get them to fit after spending a hour at the part store thinking I had the wrong size. I break the flare tool that I rented so I had to order another one so that held me up. I finally put everything back together and I had a few leaks in my lines, because the flare weren't made correctly so I had to redone them. And the other wasn't tight enough. I bleed the brakes and then the bleeder valves both break and started leaking fluid over the place. Finally got everything tighten up and took it for a test drive and it stops on a dime now. Way worth the trouble I went through to have stable braking system.

I take it you did the king pins as well? That's what I'm working on right now.
You will love the way that truck stops with discs. It made a world of difference with Frodo!

JP your truck looks awesome as expected. This is about how I want to work on whatever I get next. Drive it, enjoy it, and every weekend find something to make better, one piece at a time ;)

Just found your project thread and really enjoyed reading it. I'm on a somewhat similar track with my F250, not planning a serious restoration on mine, but a lot of cleanup/updates like you are doing. Your trucks looks real good.
