How much would you want for the aux tank? And would you be willing to ship?

I am of an age now that most of life's lessons were learned the hard way;
Life is hard, but it’s harder when you’re stupid.
Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear or a fool from any direction.
Never ask how stupid someone is 'cause they'll turn around and show you.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
If you had the choice “Looks or Brains” take the Brains, Looks will get you thru the first half, but Brains will last a lifetime.

Re: parting out 1969 f250 ranger camper special
i have all the parts of this truck with the exception of the steering column w/ wheel. i would be willing to ship the auxiliary tank and all the related parts necessary to mount it but i will be busy in the office for the next 2 months till tax season is over and winter is behind us. i shipped a auxiliary tank once before and the package is very large resulting in large freight charges. greyhound may be a better option with something like that. thanks.

Re: parting out 1969 f250 ranger camper special
i know how to calculate a gear ratio and know about the metal tag on a 9 inch rear end that identfies the gear ratio and whether it is a trac loc or not. in my last 20 years of collecting , disassembling, and reassembling vehicles i have learned a thing or to. the question is whether you are tire kicking or are a serious buyer. at 61 years old i don't need any more practice.

I wasn't try to insult your intelligence. You had just stated in a previous post that you were not sure so I thought I would share a very good web page that might have helped. I am not "tire kicking" I am not sure exactly what I am looking for, because I have not been able to find out much on ford installed limited slip and locker differential. I am very interested in find one as it would be very useful to me. What I am trying to find is a locker or LSD for a 1970 f250 camper special. I would greatly appreciate if you would share some of your knowledge that you have learned in your many years of working with vehicles. I am very new to working with ford rear ends so I am not sure what a dana 60 means? Or a dana 70? I am guessing its a style or model of differential. Again I am sorry if you thought I was try to insult you.

the tailgate is pretty decent. no rust problems but some small dents. the finish panels etc have some problems however. some is usable some is not. not for a show truck.
