What a bummer :( My plans fell thru. Wish I could have attended and met you folks. I'm sure you had a great day B.S.ing and selling stuff. Did the weather keep many vendors or sellers away?

the weather was ok. but i think alot fo people didn't show because they thaught it was going to be bed weather. i got there just before noon and most of the good stuff was already gone. there was alot of rusty stuff. and alot of brand x stuff. and alot of both rusty brand x stuff. i saw a set of chrome power by ford valve covers and some hood emblems but i passed on them because they either wanted more than i wanted to pay or i didn't need them. i took three pics i'll post them.

Thanks all for coming out. It was a good time and we had a lot of laughs. Mostly at each other.

I put up a few phots of cars and a bump from the car lot if anyone wants to check them out.

August again for sure and hope to have all the bumps up running and out in force.

Robert you and your wife did a excellent job of hosting all of us. I am already planning for the august meet. I already have seed for the parts to grow from. I stopped and picked up a nova hubcap from the side of the highway on the way home. lmao

Hey all! Man, was that fun or what? Mary and I (and the munchkins) had a great time. Thanks to Robert for allowing us to hang out at his house for the obligatory BS session.

I'm putting together a page with pics right now, it should be posted before I go to bed this evening.

And for anyone in the Midwest area who DIDN'T attend this Meet & Greet, you missed out on a great time! And as mentioned, we're going to be attempting to do this again for the August 11-12 swap meet. Since that's about the time I'll be losing my shop, I'm going to be piling as many parts as I can fit on a car trailer and bringing them down then. Just go ahead and mark your calendar now, and let's make the August meet the one to NOT miss. ;)

Keith i noticed you said camper special but mine is just a 1/2 ton. Even though the p/o more than likely hadn't ever hauled anything but the over the cab camper. Maybe by the august meet i might just have mine painted might even take offers on it.
