What do you do for radio reception if you delete antenna? Maybe they make a windshield with built in antenna?

I don't really plan on having an antenna or head unit of any kind at least at this time. I will be plugging an iPod or MP3 player directly into an amplifier.

I spent many hours degreasing, bead blasting, and rebuilding the power steering box...on my [censored] counter! :D

I got a Borgeson 1"DD x 3/4"-36 spline rag joint to connect the ididit to the Sag. box. After careful measurements and mocking up the column, I tacked the dash mount bracket to the housing and let some paint fly. Also scored a prop. valve mount as well as some other odds and ends parts from the local pick 'n pull yard.

I cleaned, blasted, and painted a bunch of brake stuff too! The proportioning valve, wheel cylinders, shoes, hardware kit, e-brake cables, drums, and master cylinder are all new parts (front brakes are almost brand new and were on my '69 before). Guess what my next project will be! :D I've got all new stainless line to bend up and flare! I also scored a V8 gas pedal and linkage and a wiper switch.

Very nice Patrick! What's that paint you used on the steering gear, m/c, and accelerator parts? Looks great! :fr:

Do you have the Bead Blaster between the fridg & dishwasher or next to the stove so you can flip the burgers while your blasting :P  Very nice(as always) Patrick

Thanks Randy! The paint is Dupli-Color engine enamel and the color is 'cast iron gray'. I typically use it on drums, master cylinders, steering gears, calipers, u-joints, etc...basically stuff that Ford didn't paint at the factory and then later turns to rust. I'm going for the 'restomod' look for this truck so I want a mostly stock appearance at a glance but with a few safety and performance upgrades as well as some aesthetic changes like wheels, a lowered stance, etc. Plus, I like a little contrast under the hood rather than shooting EVERYTHING black. :D

Thanks! I actually put a few parts in the toaster oven to ensure that they dried thoroughly after the super hot, soapy bath in the [censored] sink! I've washed a few parts in the bath tub too!

Thank you! I wish my pace was a little quicker but I'm plugging away. I've learned to make more frequent but smaller goals for myself and that has helped me keep motivated.

Looking good! I'm still stuck in winter here... The garage is a mess, I need to roll everything out and sort, clean and organize... Too much stuff, too little room. Meanwhile, getting up to speed on getting the 32V ECM harness sorted, ECM programmed.
