Well.....
This last weekend spent two 12 hour days swapping the motor in, put all my new parts on it, got everything setup. And then it happened. The oil pump shaft didnt go into the distributor, but instead went off to the side. And well you can guess the aftermath.
Destroyed all my bearings and blew that motor.
But I got everything setup the front clip is ready to be taken off easily now and its time to rebuild the bored out 390 I have.
In better news at least I now have a solid extra 390 block. Im going to get it checked out and go from there. Really sad about it. But what can you do?

Havent updated this in a while. Been in a holding pattern for the last year. So i did eventually find another motor for my truck. It cost a whole $140 and worked good for about a month. Then the connecting rod snapped....
So the truck sits again ready for a new heart. I pulled the oil pan finally and boy was it bad....
Thats what found in the pan....
Piston destroyed crank...
More metallic wreckage.
So more holding pattern till i locate an engine.
