that's what I figured. The other has me a lil confused. I have found an FE2100 carb site but no pics of this other hose. Ok so most of ya are thinking. This I dot 10 T just anin't gonna get this done. hahaha. Well it will get there just going to take some time. It has been years since I have broken down any thing other than a tractor and computer networks. Like late since I even worked on an engine and then it was my 61 Nova II or 72 Torino Sport. But It is coming back a bit at a time.

That port is not essential to engine function. I just checked my collection and I have one with that port. I believe it is either an early PCV fresh/filtered air port or some other emissions function. What was it ultimately connected to? You can cap it unless you find a use for it. It's not going to create a vacuum leak, but it will allow unfiltered air past the filter if not capped.

Thanks Heirloom. It wasn't connected to anything. That is kinda how I figured the choke out other than it was connected to the choke. Well off to step 2. Rebuild I think and changing the solenoid and testing the ignition switch. When the ignition is turned on the emergency flashers work but no radio or anything else.
