It's awesome to take 40+ years of 'stuff' off and clean it up! It looks like a whole new truck! Good find!

Ok, just got back from the scrap yard and made $175 from the utility bed. :woohoo: So now the truck cost me $425! I still plan on selling the vice and the tools that were left in it...and the diesel auxilary tank. I "MAY" be close to breaking even!. :D

Looking good. Nice to see another dually. If you dont have any luck with one piece wheels. I have a set of one piece that will fit and are 16.5. I am no where close to you though. keep up the work.

no pics, but I ordered my true roller timing set from Summit came yesterday :woohoo: . I test fit it and there seems to be quite a bit of slack in it. It's been a VERY long time since I had an FE apart,so maybe it's all good. I still have to get the radiator rodded/rebuilt, and new upper/lower hoses and rebuild carb.

Lookin' good! I'm a fan of the original factory colors myself. I like the retro look I guess? But, with modern components or upgrades. That's why I chose boxwood green for my '70...I can't wait to start spraying!

I know for myself, I was anxious to pull up the floor mat when I got my truck . I wanted to see if I could find some old change but I was very courious about the condition of the floor pans. Looks like your floor pans are in pretty good shape.

well guys, it all came to an end the other day. We had a couple of bombs dropped on us, first my wife is losing her medical insurance(boss decided he no longer wants to provide insurance to his employees) which really sucks because we have a SEVERELY disabled 5 yr old child, then second....my wife talks to B of A about our home loan(we are in Chapter 13 BK-5yr plan to pay back our creditors about 12% of what we owe.....at the time of our case hearing our house payment became $1416mo.....)but B of A told my wife they are just waiting for our BK to be discharged and they are going to take our house.... :x ! They said we have been $320mo behind for the past 3.5 yrs! So we are planning on converting from a 13 to a 7 and walking away from everything....besides, the house in $200,000 UPSIDE DOWN! So I had to sell the F350...will be selling my BBQ business and my Spirit of 76 Chevy truck.

I hate to hear of situations like this. I've just barely skimmed by in a bad situation myself, and had to move from a house to a 1br apt. and sell my '07 Effie just to make it to where I am, and all I have to worry about is little ole' me. It seems that times are tough all over right now, but I'll keep you in my prayers in hopes that you stay optimistic about the future - there's always a brighter day ahead.
