Good work, I thought about the jag front end too before I bought the crown vic setup, I did find complete jags for sale under $500 bucks some running and some not. I think the bolt pattern is diff too.

jg f100 hi, thanks i should say the same to you as well, loved what you have done to your truck. when i started thinking of doing my truck the first article i read was your's, that what got me thinking to do mine but i started looking for a crown vic at junkyard's around here in Kentucky they were all to much so a ad came up in the local paper for this jaguar front end for $125 so i bought it the rest is history . i still refer to you article for ideal's , going to shorten it too but not as short as a short bed, look at your article for pointer's thanks again JG

I will caution you as to using track width as a vital measurement. Track width is measured from the center of the tire to the center of the tire. Wider/narrower wheels & offset can greatly alter this dimension. Hub to hub is a fixed dimension that you can rely on when looking at suspension swaps.

hi bigblock514, the front suspension is a series 2 jaguar 1974 xj12. they ran series 2 type front suspension's from 1973 to 1979, they have Vented disks and 4 piston calipers and rack pinion steering, track width on the jaguar front suspension is 59.5 inch's were the f100 track width is 60 inch's, as elgemcdlf has said (I will caution you as to using track width as a vital measurement. Track width is measured from the center of the tire to the center of the tire. Wider/narrower wheels & offset can greatly alter this dimension. thank's tybob81 i'm trying but it look's like i'm going to have to stop working on it once again because of my heart going to have open heart surgery in the next few days, will find out Thursday, going to Nashville to vanderbilt hospital to talk to the surgeon, so this might be my last post for a while , so enjoy the pic's and i hope it will give someone ideal's to do something to there truck , there are many way's to go with the front suspension, this is what i picked for mine because of money, if we all did the same kind of front end it would get boring after while, i just hope i have inspired someone to try something different and cool don't be afraid to try new thing's because if i didn't i wouldn't built a lot of cool car's over the year's so enjoy and good luck with your project. :fr:

Hi Junkyardbuilder69, I'm new to this forum & have been directed to your build thread as I'm about to Install a 1994 Jag XJ6 front clip to my '72 longbed F250. I live in the UK and can't get hold of crown vics...

Did you have to modify the Jag Cross member? as mine looks too narrow to fit without pinching the front chassis. do you have any more pictures of the front end fabrication. I hope the build is going well & I look forward to your reply.
