I replaced my floor pans and, I'm ashamed to say, my fitment and welding left a little to be desired. I top coated it with Eastwood Gloss Chassis Black and all my little sins slapped me in the face. So I went back over it with Rustoleum Textured Bed Liner spray cans. Two good coats and I'm really happy with it. Hides a multitude of sins. Gloss black (Haven't repainted over my patches yet)... Textured....spacelong wrote:ok....Its been a while. Ive got to upload some more pics! I used por 15 on the bottom of the cab and now just awaiting a top coat of something, haven't figured that out yet. Any recommendations?

Re: 1970 crewcab shortbed 2wd
ok.... sooo small baby steps as far as progress goes.I recently placed the cab back on the chassis and began sanding. I can only spend 1-2 hrs a day if that dedicated to the build.(2 yr old son) But Im loving every moment of it until something unforeseen happens. Then I get become unmotivated, and sit on it for a week while the research begins. A perfect example of this is the donor truck I just bought. I normally wouldn't have the time to look, but because of a small disaster welding a panel, I took a week off....and viola Fummins donor truck! Of course this is just a preliminary decision, as it goes this truck runs great, and I may end up just enjoying it. Decisions.. Decisions..
