The color is the original factory color for the truck. Its a maroon but not sure what Ford calls it. I don't have many plans for the truck. It been pretty much done and the way it is for 12 years. I keep telling myself than when its time for new tires I'll go with something narrower and shorts and lower it a bit to give it a street truck look. For now it is a more classic/original look. But that might not ever happen, im back and forth on it and the I-beams are expensive.
One thing I want to do to it someday is swap in a newer 5-speed. Ive read that the ones from the late model F-150s that came with the 300ci straight six will work. That would really wake up the truck. Right now the 3 useful gears in the T18 just arent meant for freeway use and theres no way to shift it fast enough to be respectable on the track. I took it down the strip a couple times, ran a 16.7. I don't remember the speed but I thought it was pretty good for a truck especially with the trans.
