Thank you all for your comments. Choosing colour is a very difficult decision, what the colour looks like on the paint code chip and what it looks like on a panel is very different.The truck was boxwood green org. never been a fan of green on less it's on money. lol. The colour I chose is Ruby Red metalic.Sent the frame down to the shop on the weekend,will keep you all up dated.

Got the cab and front clip back on frame. Put all the glass back in,with new rubber and anti-rattlers. New door seals and sill plates.

I too love that color, (reminds me of my older brothers 69 Stang').

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

Thanks for your comments. The paint is DuPont Nason line base coat clear coat. No I haven't fired up the motor yet.Starting to work on the wiring than I'll start her up and break in the cam properly. :hd:

The cam is made by Clevite. Should have a slightly longer duration than stock. Just wanted to build the motor back to stock. When I put the motor in the truck originally it was well used, but still had lots of balls. I was young and foolish and tested it out alot. :wink: I knew the motor was getting tired when I put the truck away 20 years ago.It's a good thing I did because, the one piston was cracked and another was missing the top ring.The pistons weren't to hard to get of the block.
