ok, the eng is out and was wanting to mount it to the eng stand but can't. all the transmissioninternals are restricting me to mate the eng and stand together. how can i remove the pressure plate and everything else and still kepp it all together for reinstallation?

I'll tell you what. when I was trying to install the eng onto the stand from the cherry picker, that was a big pita I fooled with in a while. Both ends of the picker and stand go outward and I could'nt get the stand to line up with the engine. I did it, but man taking off the front clip and motor was easier than that .

the engine stand shoul dhave had longer spacer to space the enigne out away from the stand so it would let the pressure plate to stay on there. usually you remove everything ffor a rebuild because the crank usually comes out to get the main bearings out the easy way.
