Welcome from Okla. And thats a sweet bird there. My dad had a lot of funny names for cars and he worked auto body way back when they didnt even use lead to fill dents with. He always called them blundering turds but i like that body style of the birds. The tail lights are way cool on them. For some that dont know it they are senquencial when turning. I was watching a car show on the sat the other night and they were doing a 65 stang and using a after market led set just like them. They didnt even have to cut out the holes any at all If i keep my truck long enough im gonna do the roll pan with them installed on the back.
Thank you everybody for the welcomes! Sorry for the late reply, my girlfriend and I just got back from a long road trip to a car show this past weekend.
As foghorn stated, many people may think of the Tbirds as "blundering turds", that's because they haven't driven/owned one. My 'Bird is quicker than you'd expect, rides better and stops better than my '97 Contour I had, and is 30 years older!
welcome from NJ We used to call em thunderchickens..but they are sweet cars.. I had a 73 for awhile..parents had 78 and a 85....TBirds are one of my favorite big cars built. Yours is one sweet ride..
