I recently seen a pic of what many thought was a bump extended to make a Supercab. It was a Supercab made to look like a bump. For someone who knows the differences in bodies it wasn't that hard to spot. It was done so well the magazine it was featured in misspoke & said Ford started building Supercabs in '72.

Replace the front clip, hang a couple doors, run the bump in the remaining open areas. Add the overhang & replace the bottom of the qtrs just behind the rear wheel. Pull the dash and replace with a bump dash. Let's see, did I miss anything?
Bump doors are 100% different from dent stuff man. No disrespect intended at all, but you ever look at them before? I can't see all that well and I can tell a dent from a bump from many hundreds of yards away from the side, the front or the rear- And you can't tell the dent/bump difference from the side from a long ways out, but you sure as hell can see the difference in the door jambs...
I am pretty sure I said hang a couple doors.

Have there been no updates? Or have I missed a new thread somewhere?

Would really like to see this one done. Have had it bookmarked for awhile. Wanted to build one too, was all working well in my head until I got to the area from the door glass to the topper. Glad I'm not the only one not sure what to do there. :hmm:

He got sooo far. NO WAY I would give up at that point. Hope it's just a 'life' thing.
