Detroit Lockers... NOT
Well, I just discovered this weekend that the axles that came with the truck did not have Detroit Lockers as they where advertised. So this really sucks as I was planning on selling the axles to offset the cost of upgrading. Now what?

I'm not "Brand Loyal" Ford-Chevy-Dodge-Toyota I have them all, one even cross mixed...
If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

I know of a guy who has a 3.54 D60 high pinion front axle in a '78 F250 4x4 - but he wants $1300 for it. It is in Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.
owner of several 67-72 as well as 73-79 Ford trucks

Ya, it seems that they are a bit more plentiful everywhere but California. Other than that $1300 is about right!Art wrote:I know of a guy who has a 3.54 D60 high pinion front axle in a '78 F250 4x4 - but he wants $1300 for it. It is in Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.
