My new score, and it is a good one.
Here is my new score. $500.00, but I had to give him $200 for the stuff he stripped off of it. The porcelain and the freezer is in real good shape, the rest is junk. I am still trying to figure out what year it is, they say it is a 66, I say it is a 67. I am thinking it is a combination of both, the dash looks like a 66 but the grill looks like a 67. I am going to look for a serial # tomorrow, and then they said they would send me the correct title (they have 3 66 GH trucks).
I think I got a good deal, the parts I bought would bring more that the cost of the truck on e-bay.
It will make a great parts truck, OR I may mount the freezer on a late model truck. I am going to test the freezer in the morning, I am not expecting too much, but the fan looks kind of new, and the system looks in good shape.

Well, I don't know what all changed when the conversions to ice-cream trucks was made, but it's definitely NOT a '66. It's also not a '67, judging by the in-dash heater controls ('68-up), hood emblems ('68-up) and the grille ('68-only).
Regardless, I'd say you made a heck of a good deal there! Congrats!

Yeah.. about all I can figure out for sure is the front clip is a bumpside of some year below 1970
The cab is some year above 1967
As always though I defer to the resident expert, Keith.

Nice score!! The VIN says F "10", it has 8 lug 16.5 rims. May be an ice cream truck technicality? It sure is cool !! Congrats

re: My new score, and it is a good one.
Just ran the vin F25AE70039 So if I read it right it is a 240 6 cyl made in NJ in Feb 1969. I knew it wasn't a 66.
The motor hasn't run in a while, the carb is completely froze open, the hood fell apart when I opened it, but I didn't buy it for the body.
I needed the original bumper, and the aluminum guard on the passenger side fender, and the freezer box.
Too bad it is so rough I hate to part out a classic. Although it would make a cool late model ice cream truck. I want to find a nice late model, and put the freezer box on it, and the just trick it out.
I am just so happy with my new parts truck!
