Drip rail mouldings

Post by kegerray »

Can someone explain to me how to remove the drip rail moldings without ruining them?

I have read that harbor freight has a tool for that, but I haven't used one. Don't pull on the moulding, pry it from underneath, and use something to spread the load, like a popsickle stick, or you will get little tool kinks. Start at the bottom and work slowly. Extra hands may help.

I had always heard that an old style can opener works great. Thats how I got the moulding on my 68 Cougar started when I had removed many years ago.
