I'm researching my grandfather's truck I inherited to start collecting parts for restoration. Two of the bolt hole "tabs" on one of the cylinder heads for the exhaust manifold is broken. It actually looks as if 2 have had bolts drilled out causing the damage. The heads are C8AE-H. Are these factory correct heads for 67 352? Can the tab be welded back and machined or should I just find new/used heads? If I need to find replacement what head #'s should I be looking for.
Thanks!

Those heads found there way onto many applications and 67'352's were one of them. Very well could be original to the truck. Many upon many of ford trucks have had those flanges broken trying to repair an exhaust leak or swap manifolds with headers over the years and even more colorful ways or re-attaching manifolds back on. At least you have a bolt. When I inherited my uncles 70' f250 I found a vise grip on one side and a small c-clamp on the other I would say what you do with it depends on you. If you want to repair that situation for visual appeasement then good cores can still be found. or say you have the heads off and they need to be overhauled for a valve job, seats, decking, maybe some new valves then I would prob opt for undamaged cores cause if your going to spend money on rebuilding a set of heads then might as well you know.
