Hello, I am stripping and repainting all the components in the engine compartment and wanted to see if anyone knows or has pictures of the correct things that are painted blue and which are black?
I know the Intake, valve covers and water pump are blue. Pulleys, Oil cap, PCV cap, AC parts are all black I assume. I assume the brackets for the alternator are black as well?
Just want to make sure I get as close to OEM as I can. Thanks!

Re: Correct engine compartment component paint colors
As I understand it, the basic engine is built at the engine plant and painted blue, it is then shipped to the plant which built your truck. When an order is placed, a build sheet is sent to the engine trim line which adds whatever accessories are specified, they are installed as supplied, black, blue or natural.
I have never seen any brackets in any colour but black on an FE.

Do note there has been some debate about that truck, i don't recall it all but the master cylinder was part of it...
