I always wanted to do this on BC16, (but it never had the cargo light to start/I'd bought one but never got around to it).

Cali is in my prayers as the fires there rage. Our heat index here is 109 today, (but our humidity being the blessing in disguise ya'll need to help with the fires?).

Mounted the jack previously painted, and also mounted the washer reservoir. Not much else done, but got a new 6 week old shepherd puppy.

Got some caliper paint and painted my new calipers, going to try to get some work done tomorrow and next weekend, during the 2 day weekend. Need to have this thing ready to drive 11/20.

My GF I just broke up with has two full blooded GSD's, both beautiful full grown docile for the most part but totally "raw" untrained.

Rocket will be trained. Unfortunately he caught a case of Parvo so he is in quarantine and until his medicine is finished.

Too damn hot to work outside today, started taking some of the stuff I have purchased in the last few weeks out to the garage, mostly tools. Pulled off the fuel gauge selector switch and cleaned it up and painted the bracket. I have another bracket to mount that will house the USB port. Hoping it will be cooler next weekend for my two day weekend. Then I can accomplish a lot. Just going to get stuff cleaned up and put away and then settle down for a beer. https://www.thebruery.com/

So much for hoping for a cool Labor Day weekend. 103 yesterday, and probably the same today. Going to work on the inside of the house today. New dishwasher arrived yesterday, will be installing it today. Ordered leaf springs Friday, front sway bar yesterday a few other misc. items.

Looking at cooler temps this weekend, s/b mid 70s ish. Took tomorrow off. Need to see what I can accomplish this weekend.

Also looking forward to some cooler temps down this way! Our heat index has been over 100 for what seems like months now, (but we have the "wet sauna" heat). I soak 3 shirts in sweat everyday still, (1st one by 8 AM).

I pray the leaf springs don't fight you too much, (I so...remember installing a pair or re-arched springs in my early Bronco and cussed more than a drunk sailor when getting the 2nd bolt hole to line up)!

Not a whole heck of a lot going on, lack of motivation. I had two good weekends of awesome temps but did nothing to the Pearl.
Side note, hubcaps arrived yesterday purchased from @TexasTruck72 and they are a perfect fit for my rims. Now to clean em up.
