Great site. Very useful in researching my trucks.
It's great to see people wanting to come together and preserve knowledge for others.
Had a 1969 briefly (hence the username), but had to sell it to buy a 1972 that came along right afterwards.
The 1972 runs, but I have not had time to drive it once, except for the test drive. (That's why it's on a trailer in the pics.)
First project on the 1972 will be to finish removing the large "west coast" mirrors, one of which I already involuntarily removed partially trying to get it into the garage. (Don't worry, I will save them.)
Second project will be to recover the seats.
Third, maybe see about getting the factory AC to work -- at least all the parts appear to be there!
From there, who knows.
Just happy to find a truck that has not been hacked, abused, and neglected.
Happy to be here and looking forward to great talk and virtual friendships.
Cheers.
